Friday 19th March 2021

Dear Parents,

We hope you are all keeping well and safe.

The school is busy and buzzing with children again! it is wonderful to see all the children and families back to school. The children look happy and are all continuing with their learning. It is brilliant to see the children socialising with their friends outside, lots of laughter and fun rippling through the playground.

For pupils who are self isolating or shielding, we will continue to provide online learning via see-saw and staff will continue with well being and reading phone calls.

Enjoy your weekend and stay safe.

Zoe and Kelly

Thank you to all the children who donated to this worthwhile charity. Children and staff had lots of fun sharing their jokes today. Here is a joke to make you smile, from Ryley in Kingfisher class.

What did one eye say to the other eye?...Something smells between us!

Attendance

Our school target is 96%

At Chesterfield we take attendance and punctuality very seriously as we want to give all of our children the best possible start in life and there is a direct link between the amount of time children spend in school and the progress they make.

We recognise the role parents have to play in supporting and encouraging good attendance and punctuality. Thank you for your support.
