Nursery and Reception embarked on an exciting and imaginative journey deep into the heart of the jungle during a fantastic drama workshop! The air was filled with the sounds of exotic animals as the children transformed into playful monkeys, slithering snakes, roaring tigers, and graceful elephants. The workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to work collaboratively, listen attentively to instructions, and build their social skills as they interacted with their peers in character.

Today we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day and the whole school was decked out in bunting and displays to mark the occasion. The children took part in the VE 80 Great Big Live Assembly, observed 2 minutes' silence and completed activities in class to commemorate VE Day and the sacrifices made during World War 2.

In Year 1 we use counting frames called Rekenreks to help our understanding of early place value and number sense.

As many of our school community celebrate Eid, the children came to school dressed in their Eid/Party clothes alongside others from other religious backgrounds and beliefs. There was a special whole-school assembly followed by an afternoon of arts and craft activities and celebrations in each classroom.
