    This week, our highly anticipated Intrasports event ignited a passion for physical activity and boosted the health and wellbeing across all year groups! Children embraced the opportunity to engage in a diverse carousel of sports, fostering both individual skill and team spirit. Divided into distinct colour-coded teams, pupils enthusiastically participated in a wide array of activities including the strategic aim of curling, the athletic launch of javelin, dynamic football skills drills, and many other exciting challenges. It was a wonderful display of teamwork, effort, and the joy of movement, all contributing to a healthy and active school community!

  • Year 5 visit to the Ragged Museum

  • Packham and Thunberg Class visit to the Silver Service Cafe

    Packham and Thunberg classes had a fantastic real-world learning experience with a special visit to the Silver Service Cafe! The children were brilliant, learning all about the practical ins and outs of ordering and paying for food in a cafe setting. We all thoroughly enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate and buttered toast, and we were so impressed by their impeccable manners throughout the visit. Building on this practical outing, back at school, the children then took charge! As part of our Maths Day celebration, they brilliantly designed, set up, and ran their very own cafe, applying their new understanding of transactions and customer service in a fun and engaging way.

    Nursery and Reception embarked on an exciting and imaginative journey deep into the heart of the jungle during a fantastic drama workshop! The air was filled with the sounds of exotic animals as the children transformed into playful monkeys, slithering snakes, roaring tigers, and graceful elephants.   • VE Day 80 Year Anniversary

    Today we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day and the whole school was decked out in bunting and displays to mark the occasion. The children took part in the VE 80 Great Big Live Assembly, observed 2 minutes' silence and completed activities in class to commemorate VE Day and the sacrifices made during World War 2.
